Donald Trump told Americans things could be a lot worse than rocketing fuel prices and it was the very opposite of reassuring
When Donald Trump was trying to get elected he memorably promised not to get involved in foreign conflicts and to keep a lid on the cost of living crisis.
So naturally he got embroiled in a war with Iran and sent fuel prices soaring through the roof. Way to go, Mr President!
And Trump has patently had enough with people telling him how much energy prices have gone up as a direct result of his own actions. So much so that his new tactic appears to be to tell Americans that, well, it could be worse!
And it was the new dictionary definition of ‘very opposite of reassuring’.
