People have been sharing their ‘ridiculous cultural blindspots’ after someone somehow thought Blur and Pulp were the same band – 22 exceptionally confused numpties

If you’ve ever been a big fan of a particular band or celebrity, it will be hard to imagine that someone might confuse them with someone else.

However, we don’t all pay the same level of attention to the same things, so it’s easy to get a bit muddled.

‘I recently realised that Pulp and Blur are not the same band. Do you have any similarly ridiculous cultural blind spots?

‘Common people, Disco 2000, Song 2, Parklife. Until recently, whenever I heard these songs on the radio I would mentally attribute them to a band fronted by Damon Albarn and Jarvis Cocker, named either Pulp or Blur depending on which name came to mind first.
