‘I used to work as a bartender. One night after closing I saw an old friend of my husband almost passed out so I helped him and asked where he was staying as I knew he lived in a different city. He had no room anywhere so I took him home.
‘He stayed there the whole weekend (we did ask him to leave) and while he was away he dared to call to say he was coming home to take a nap but not to worry because it would not bother him if we wanted to be home too. He also ate all the leftovers from the fridge.
