These “subway doodles” are tremendously creative way of using the time spent commuting
“I draw on the subway on my iPad.” writes Ben Rubin who makes these fantastic doodles over on Instagram.
Ben tells Tracks:
“I started sketching on my iPad during my commute just to pass the time. One day, I took a picture with my iPad on the train and drew over the picture. It was fun, so I did another. And another. Then it just kind of continued from there.”

“People always ask why the creatures I draw are blue. The simple truth is that I don’t want my doodles to be interpreted as criticism or representation of any particular race or nationality. My doodles simply reflect the peculiar universal truths about humans.”
