So this guy has been leaving fake trivia books in bookshops…

Caducus over on Reddit has been, “leaving fake trivia books in bookstores.”

He’s uploaded ten photos – let’s take a look:

1.

This started as a surprise wedding gift for a friend– turning some of our running list of made up trivia into a book.

2.

Once the book was made and the gift presented, I realised that I could order a few dozen more and start a disinformation campaign on the cheap, so I’ve been leaving a few copies in bookstores, in whatever spot makes the most sense.

3.

They look like legit books. The cover looks normal enough, copyright page, ISBN number and publisher info…

4.

Except, you know, everything inside being bullshit.

“The weird thing is actually about 1 in every 30 books in bookstores are the result of this exact trick. It’s more common than you think.”, replies cannedairspray.
