Chewbacca speaking with an ordinary voice before the wookiee noises were dubbed on is pretty funny

Peter Mayhew is best known for playing Chewbacca in Star Wars and he’s just shared this fantastic clip where you hear him doing the dialogue before the ‘wookiee’ noises were dubbed on.

This was necessary so that the actors working with Chewbacca could respond naturally as if they understood him.
