You’ll know by now how Donald Trump retweeted three hate videos by Britain First, then had a pop at Theresa May after she dared to suggest it was the wrong thing to do.

This is what Brendan Cox, the widower of the murdered MP Jo Cox, said in reply.

Cox’s wife, Jo, was murdered by Thomas Mair, an extremist who shouted ‘Britain first’ when he fired his gun.

Trump has legitimised the far right in his own country, now he’s trying to do it in ours. Spreading hatred has consequences & the President should be ashamed of himself.
