No idea how this person does it but it’s mightily impressive
What exactly is going on here then?

Fortunately we’re not the only ones confused. If you can help, do get in touch.
I've watched this about 20 times in a row and I still don't understand 😭 like, how??

Issa string

Nah fam watch the other leg, she’s just getting a good jump with one leg and keeping the other in place. Hella hard tho.

I say it's a string because it looks like her foot pivots around a point. Instead of her motion translating, following her center of gravity, her right foot stays in the air momentarily. Notice how her right foot also bounces a bit as if the tension on a string supports her foot

I’m aware it looks like that, but a) that’s the point and why this is so difficult, and b) where do you see a string or even a place to tether a string? And where do they make invisible string strong enough to support the weight of a teenager?

If you’ve ever seen someone do the robot where they keep their head in one spot and their body moves around it, it’s the same concept but more dynamic. She’s probably just an amazing cheerleader with really good coordination

Still confused.
Hang on, what the hell’s this?

This is what would happen if we tried it.

Actually, it’s still better than anything we could do.
Much older. Much heavier. Much shorter box. First try. Maybe not… terrible? Lol pic.twitter.com/XkfQRegZZS

Don’t pretend you won’t be trying to do this yourself.
