Caitlin Moran asked women what they do when they are ‘involuntarily celibate’ and the answers were a delight
Inspired by this idea of ‘incels’ – that is, men who are involuntarily celibate – writer Caitlin Moran went on Twitter and asked this.
Following today's dolorous discussion of Incels (Involuntarily Celibate men who go on to kill), could women tell me what THEY do when they are involuntarily celibate?

In case you haven’t come across it, the term ‘incel’ was invented by a woman 20 years ago as a term for singles but has evolved into a rallying call for violent misogyny.
The replies to Moran were a little bit different, obviously. Here are our 19 favourites.

For 6 years I made new friends, saw wonderful movies and theatre, attended dance and art classes, ate good food, danced at warehouse parties and none of it involved sexual contact with another human. It was glorious and I’m awesome!
