Student so scared of spiders she orders a Deliveroo so the delivery guy can kill it
When we want to get rid of a giant spider we usually reach for a glass and a piece of paper or – if it’s really big – the vacuum cleaner (sorry).
Not this woman. She rang Deliveroo.
My fear of spiders was taken to a whole new level today in which I ordered food in a hope that the delivery driver would remove the spider..

“Hello. (Sounds silly but this is a serious question. I have a huge phobia of spiders, there’s one in the corridor of our house near to the door – if I order food through Deliveroo is it possible at all if the driver could get rid of it? Thank you.”
And here’s how they replied.
“Hey Demi, thanks for getting in touch. You can most certainly request this in the ‘delivery note’ section when placing your order. The only thing is, our rider may be more afraid of spiders than you are …”
Except it turned out he was okay with it. What a hero.

I once asked the mail man to get a spider for me and a neighbour that I barely knew. They both did it for me but that’s when I realised I need to do something about this. I’d rather have a stranger in the house than face a spider ♀️ not okay
