Twitter’s founder explained why they haven’t removed Alex Jones – the 23 most scathing responses
Days after several social media platforms, including Facebook, Apple and YouTube, removed posts by InfoWars mouthpiece Alex Jones, Twitter creator, @Jack, explained why Jones’ posts remain on his platform.
We didn’t suspend Alex Jones or Infowars yesterday. We know that’s hard for many but the reason is simple: he hasn’t violated our rules. We’ll enforce if he does. And we’ll continue to promote a healthy conversational environment by ensuring tweets aren’t artificially amplified.

The explanation didn’t have the calming effect he was probably hoping for. If anything, it just served as a focus for renewed negative attention.
