A 17-year-old fell for a trans girl and the internet’s advice will give you hope for humanity

A conversation soon sprang up between the unofficial agony aunts and uncles of Reddit and the lovesick young man.

Some people simply thought he should take his chance and ask her out.

His little brother’s idea about flowers had a certain amount of support.

There was also a suggestion that he should proceed with caution.

But azure-skies-123 fielded it well.

Someone summed it up quite nicely.

It seemed like he was definitely leaning towards following his heart.

His attitude earned him some very positive reactions, including from LGBTQ+ advocate and amazing transgender actress, Laverne Cox.

Sadly, we don’t know what happened because he hasn’t posted an update, but we really hope it’s because he’s too busy going on dates with his beautiful transgender girlfriend.
