I was bought a Playmobil figure when I was little and called it Pomperina. Instantly, 'Pomperinas' became what we called all Playmobil toys. The figures are Pomperinas and they drive a Pomperina car.

My toddler son used to say he wanted a bobby, much to our bemusement until it transpired that he'd seen neighbour's dog Bobby doing a poo. From then on and forever more poo is bobby in our family. (Apologies to any Bobby out there!)

My youngest son when about 3 used the general purpose insult of "Mr Pantsycord". Years later we realised it was from Toy Story where Mr Potato Head sneers "Mr Fancy Car" at someone.
