There’s a time-honoured tradition at graduation ceremonies of throwing the mortar-board into the air. Top tip – don’t look up to see where it lands – those things have pointy corners. What is less of a tradition is trying to go for a standing back-flip at the moment when you’re meant to be shaking the dean’s hand, and this clip shows why.
