Donald Trump said he has ‘German in my blood’ and Angela Merkel’s response was brilliant
Here’s Donald Trump saying he’d be happy to accept an invitation to visit Germany from its Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
But that’s not the reason we’re here. The reason we’re here is because Trump went on to say he has ‘German in my blood’ and Merkel’s response is 11/10.
Stick with it, because it’s brilliant.
Merkel is clearly very excited about the prospect of Trump visiting Germanypic.twitter.com/fXHa1YlnnN

Trump has previously claimed his grandparents were from Sweden, although people who know more about this than we do report that they come from a village called Kallstadt in what we used to call West Germany.
And just a few of the things people were saying about it.

Say what you will about Angela Merkel but she is absolutely terrible at disguising her utter contempt of our easily mockable @POTUS.
