It’s irritating when someone texts you and it turns out they’ve got the wrong number. But it’s even more irritating when, well, when this happens.

‘My aunt and uncle who live in Florida have a landline number that’s 1 digit different from a popular Italian restaurant in their town. A couple of times a year they’ll get calls from people trying to book tables, most are obviously apologetic when they realise their mistake, but once or twice a year, they’ll get some asshat that will insist they have the right number, and that they should just shut up and take their booking.’ DasFunktopus
