This map of “Free Independent England” isn’t quite what it should be
Now that Brexiters have – sort of – achieved their goal, some of them have obviously been inspired to take things further. First on the list seems to be to kill off the BBC, but one chap has even loftier aims.
For a self-styled patriot, he doesn’t seem to be too familiar with the geography of his own country, as some people pointed out.

Wales doesn't fancy that map. London, Liverpool, Cambridge, Newcastle, Bristol, Leeds, Oxford, Manchester, neither.

3.
Why have you included Wales? 😡

No wait!
Just 3 months ago it was The Kingdom of England & Wales.
Will visit again in June to see if The Kingdom of Mercia is back in the running again. pic.twitter.com/T7UKD2Cd6c

I'm really upset at the demise of The Kingdom of England & Wales (or #Wangland for short) as a concept.
I made a flag and everything. pic.twitter.com/3Up5bEO9Q7
