‘What is something that is illegal but isn’t wrong ethically?’ – 17 blurred lines
People have been sharing things that are illegal but ethically okay – in their opinion, obviously – after Redditor bleachspot asked this.
“What is something that is illegal but isn’t wrong ethically?”
It prompted some fascinating exchanges and probably a few surprises along the way – not to mention introducing us to the verb ‘credentialing’ but that’s enough about us.
We’ve read all of the responses – well, quite a lot of them – so you don’t have to and these stood out from the crowd.

‘Paying for someone else’s parking meter.’
PunMatster‘In Keene new Hampshire there was a group called the “Robinhooders of Keene”. They would follow around the meter maid and put quarters in the meters so they couldn’t write tickets. Most of the revenue comes from the tickets, not the meters.
‘The city tried to sue but they were unsuccessful. Some unknown benefactor paid the robinhooders to do it. It was part of the libertarian “free state project”.’
