Rishi Sunak doesn’t own the car he was pictured filling up – 9 premium responses

You’ll have seen by now that photo of Rishi Sunak filling up a car with fuel after his spring mini budget was widely criticised for not doing enough to ease the cost of living crisis.

It prompted lots of speculation that the car couldn’t possibly actually belong to the unimaginably rich Chancellor and – of course – it turned out it didn’t. Of course it didn’t.
