A conservative American talkshow host said he ‘defeated Pride’ by proposing to his girlfriend and the internet responded as one

Full disclosure, we hadn’t come across Addison Smith before. It turns out he’s a presenter on conservative news(ish) channel Newsmax and is big on Jesus which is already more than you probably need to know.

We mention him because he’s just proposed to his girlfriend, although that’s not entirely it. The important bit is how he framed it on Twitter. Over to the man himself.
