This Twitter user found the “worst song ever made” – and it somehow pissed off the band’s fans and haters equally

I didn’t know it was possible not to like this song

I hated this song when it came out and I hate it more now. Millennial hipster anthem from the fiery pits of hell.

it’s not that bad of a song. The whole stomp clap thing is easy to pick on but there’s obviously worse songs. This song at least tried to be good. Meghan Trainor and Benson Boone just trying to be popular.

It’s always nice when a band you wrote off for having a bad name and have never listened to ends up being exactly as big a waste of time as you thought

I miss the hipster folky era in music. Simultaneously hip hop was giving us prime Cudi, 808s & Heartbreak Ye, Drake before the tough guy switch up. Everything is so apathetic and surface level now in comparison to that era. Everybody is miserable fake tough & fake rich now.

I swear America is allergic to earnestness and it makes us the most spiteful, judgy, clout-chasing jerks this generation.

Dammit, I know you made this statement just to get clicks but seeing too many people respond negatively to this song. This song is actually great, even if the group is forgettable and could have been part of Manson cult in the 70s. Indie music in this era was generally good…
