Mass deportations, scrapping workers’ rights, and buddying up with the Taliban – 23 votes of no confidence in Reform UK’s five-year plan

How nice that Farage has the buy in from the Taliban – that’s not extremely concerning at all. https://t.co/BVtkV6Jn8c

Summary of Nigel Farage’s announcement:
-magically create new places to house migrants
-imprison children there
-pay the Taliban to torture and kill people
-join Russia as a pariah state outside the ECHR

Has @Nigel_Farage started using echo on his speeches so he sounds more like Adolf Hitler addressing the Nuremberg Rally?

Nigel Farage will tell you that he will stop the small boats & deport people but he won't. But you'll vote for him anyway.
Nigel Farage will take away your job security, sick pay, holiday pay, maternity pay & right to join a trade union. And then it'll be too late to wake up.

Nigel Farage says “We are not very far from major civil disorder” but forgets to add “and I’ll keep doing all I can to ensure we get there”.

Perfect partnership tbh. Nigel Farage meets the Taliban: one bans women from schools, the other bans facts from politics. If the Taliban are ‘ready and willing’ to work with him, it’s probably because even they think Nigel would look better in a cave than in Westminster.

Memo to Farage: we already had a civil war, thanks, and it didn't end well in 1649 for the rich, arrogant autocrat who wanted power without responsibility.

I didn’t exactly have “Reform floating the idea of handing cash to the Taliban to take back people who fled the Taliban” on my 2025 Batshittery Bingo Card, but alas, here we are. pic.twitter.com/D9i8KCARYo

Anna Soubry, the former Conservative MP who now supports Labour, had a very different suggestion.
Deporting torture victims back to the country they fled is barbaric.
Safe routes, smashing the gangs, slashing the asylum backlog & working with other countries are complex but genuine solutions.#Farage #Reform are making unworkable & cruel promises

She might want to remind the PM about that safe routes plan.
