‘my son really had to go while we were on a road trip, forever away from any place to stop on a long stretch of highway. whatever, you gotta go you gotta go- so here’s an empty Gatorade bottle and everyone else avert your eyes.
a few seconds later, ‘mom this isnt working!! its all leaking back out!’

‘well yeah kid, you’re holding the bottle upside down above you, instead of using it like a teeny toilet -_-‘

‘Had a friend who’s ma loved to tell a story about his older brother. The driveway to their home was on a bend and reversing out was a bit tricky. So kid’s in the backseat, maybe 8-10 or something. She starts reversing out and asks him if he can see any cars coming. “No mammy” he says, so she continues reversing, “but there’s a truck!”. She managed to avoid the accident but not by a lot!’

‘To preface, we’re English and admittedly don’t know everything about American food even though there’s plenty of it over here. He was 15 when this happened.

‘Ordering takeaway and my son asks for buffalo wings, I tell him I don’t think he’ll like it as he’s not a fan of spicy food. He tells me he still wants to try as he’s never eaten buffalo! After I composed myself from the raucous laughter and his confused expression I asked him where on a buffalo are his wings? A pause and then realisation he slaps his head and picks another dish.

‘He’s very food adventurous but still hasn’t been able to try buffalo yet lol.’
