‘Unlocked a memory here. Flatmate at uni for two years made hating the word ‘moist’ a big part of her personality. Without fail on every single night out she’d bring it up to at least someone, and often multiple times to whoever would listen. Odd times.’

‘People hate on things like Pumpkin Spice Lattes because they’re enjoyed by young women. When women like something, its instantly shat on for being ‘shallow’ or ‘basic’, especially if the women are younger. The flavours used in a PSL are used widely in baking etc where apparently its totally fine to be enjoyed, but put it in a coffee and suddenly its cringe.

If you dislike a PSL because you don’t like the taste, fine. But if you dislike it because it exists… you’re just following the trend of disregarding things enjoyed by women.’

‘Guinness. I used to work in a pub 20 years ago, barely anyone ever touched stout except for the proper older ones who had a half or two. Nowadays it’s popularity has exploded and I think due to clever marketing like ‘Split the G’ and I swear a lot of people are drinking it just been seen drinking it when they don’t actually like it that much.’

‘David Attenborough. Everyone wants to go to an imaginary dinner party with him and everyone’s gonna be totally distraught when he dies and everyone likes to talk about that a lot.’
