Donald Trump was asked what causes political violence and his audacious answer may have unified the country (just not how he intended)

Coming off a disastrous weekend in Washington, DC where a gunman attacked Donald Trump’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner, the President went on 60 Minutes with a chance to bring his country together.

It probably won’t come as a surprise that he did not.

Trump was posed a question about political violence and what he himself can do about it.

Here’s how the exchange went.

The President has posted multiple social media posts celebrating the death of men who challenged him and his policies. He calls anyone who isn’t white ‘Low IQ.’ He shouts everything (even when he’s typing).
