‘Let’s have no employment’ – It’s hard to figure out what Donald Trump is bragging about here, but it’s almost certainly a lie regardless

Donald Trump is such a liar that even when he isn’t making sense, you know it’s not the truth.

Here is the US President speaking about… “employment.”

Based on context clues, it appears Trump was attempting to address the unemployment rate.

But “unemployment rate” is hard to say. And the numbers don’t back him up.

So instead he just stumbles through this incoherent statement about having “no employment.” When taken on its own, the declaration doesn’t really make much sense at all.

Then there’s the matter that he thinks he has some sort of magical pen that can create one to two million jobs immediately. That means finding the right fit of both person and job, setting up salary, healthcare benefits, and so many more factors that go into job placements.

The half-baked boast didn’t exactly inspire confidence in the replies online.
