This woman had the magnificent final word in this TV news interview about misogyny and it just gets better and better
Here’s a rather fabulous moment from back in the day which went viral again after journalist Ash Sarker tweeted about the less than extortionate fee she was offered to talk about the local elections in the early hours of the morning.
One of the big broadcasters asked me to do some overnight punditry, in their central London studio at 4am.
The catch? Their fee was £50, and they wouldn't pay for a cab. So, at £30 each way, I'd be paying a tenner for the privilege.
Guys… how bad are your budget cuts?!

It sent this moment from back in the day viral again, a Sky News interview about misogyny from back in the day – not just the interview but what Novara Media’s @mlothianmclean found out later.
And the script surely couldn’t have been written any better.
On the subject of being paid, a gem from the archives.pic.twitter.com/HIX6N7idoK

The kind of object lesson that suggests a writer's room is in charge of reality and they're having to spell out the themes of the show for a new audience so they don't get confused. https://t.co/XcWCl6yGZF
