Trump’s top economic advisor went on TV to brag about American credit card spending and it really was’t the win he thought it was

If the disconnect between Maga voters and Maga politicians had a face, it would be the pained smirk that is always painted across Kevin Hassett’s mug when he’s making a public appearance.

The Director of the National Economic Council regularly shows up on TV to assure the American people that everything is going great with their money.

Unfortunately for Hassett, his latest attempt did not go the way he had hoped.

Listen as Hassett tries to argue that more spending is a good thing, especially when it’s racked up on credit cards.
