A new Reform UK councillor’s celebration tweet was roundly mocked into next year – vote winning takedowns
Spare a thought – only kidding – for new Reform UK county councillor Annie May O’Neill who announced how proud she was to have been elected for her Essex constituency.
Not the sort of thing we would normally bring to your attention, obviously, but there was something about the way she chose to do it that really caught people’s attention.
See if you can spot it.
I am deeply honoured to have been elected as County Councillor for Epping & Theydon Bois and District Councillor for Ongar with majority. To the residents who placed their trust in me at both levels of local government: thank you. I am ready to be your voice. ️ @reformparty_uk pic.twitter.com/NCAFYRhmyH

And the queue of people lining up to point out her schoolboy error stretched all the way to Westminster.
