Entertainment Australia neighbours
This old Neighbours clip of Maria Ramsay cutting bread in an especially terrifying fashion has just gone wildly viral for reasons which will become obvious
Neighbours isn’t on telly anymore and it’s not only been a while since we watched it, it’s been a while since we’ve thought about it.
But now we can’t stop thinking about it after this clip of Maria Ramsay cutting a slice of loaf went viral on Twitter.
And yes, it is more interesting than that makes it sound. Because … watch.
In 4 decades of watching #Neighbours, I’ve seen people held at gunpoint, taken to remote cabins by serial killers, trapped in bushfires and collapsing buildings, but I’ve never been more scared for a character’s safety than watching Maria Ramsay slice bread. #ClassicNeighbours pic.twitter.com/XYbf5Pzv4B

And these especially cutting remarks surely said it best.

Never in my life have I seen bread cut this way. Is this an Australian technique? https://t.co/bIUpmNhVbA

7.
Was she later revealed to be a serial killer?
Because this would be good foreshadowing.

Eep, you post an old #Neighbours clip expecting your usual 20 likes and… 🤯 No idea why this has escaped containment & been liked by everyone from The Chase Governess to a surprising number of Nazis, but I’m learning a lot about how folks’ grandparents sliced their bread today! https://t.co/kA9wsIgG0C pic.twitter.com/4bzrjlhxaP
