Can you spot why Nigel Farage was so furious about Last Night of the Proms?
Last Night of the Proms is usually all of Nigel Farage’s Christmases come at once. Except last night the former Ukip leader turned radio phone-in host wasn’t happy. Can you spot why?
If you’re thinking: ‘Hmm, is it something to do with all those blue and gold flags?’ you’d be right.’
Around 7,000 European Union flags were handed out to concert goers before the Royal Albert Hall bash.
Here’s what Farage told the Guardian.
“These people are still in denial over the referendum result. They are trying to make it all about them instead of a great concert. The British people want to leave the EU no matter how many flags they fly.”
So it’s okay to address a far-right rally in Germany, as Farage did, but not wave a flag at a concert.
How cheering to see so many European flags st the Last Night of the Proms. I want to remain a European citizen!

It’s the little things that spread joy, isn’t it?
