Prue Leith and the Great British Balls-Up – the funniest reactions (no spoilers!)
So Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith has rather spoiled tonight’s final for some people by accidentally tweeting the winner.
We won’t reveal who it was here – you can find it if you really want to – but there was no shortage of sympathy, understanding, and downright piss-taking on Twitter. Here’s the best of it.
1.
Prue Leith told @PA she is "in too much of a state" to talk about the tweet and she sent it at the wrong time because she is in Bhutan 🙁

Mary Berry would not be tweeting from Bhutan. Mary would be in Buckinghamshire with a landline telephone, making a fish pie

Accidentally tweeting the winner of Bake Off cos you can't get the hang of Bhutan time zones is the most middle class thing I can think of

Even though Leith (or her social media team) quickly deleted it, some members of the press ensured maximum damage by cutting and pasting her tweet and retweeting it. Nice one, my Sun.
Here’s what people thought of that.
I don't care. If you tweeted what apparently was slipped as the winner, you are a dick and deserve all the hate.
