Brutal takedown of White House official who couldn’t remember Trump’s ‘shithole’ remark is required viewing
If only our parliamentarians were a bit more like this.
Here’s Democratic senator Cory Booker tackling Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen after she testified that she did not hear Donald Trump refer to ‘shithole’ countries in South America and Africa.
“I did not hear that word used, no sir. The conversation was very impassioned. I don’t dispute that the president was using tough language. Others in the room were also using tough language.”

Senator Cory Booker just took the smile off the face of DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen's face.
I stand up and applaud the passion and outrage he is expressing in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Thank you Cory Booker. pic.twitter.com/jypFBJgfHP
