The replies to this one-time UKIP leadership hopeful are very satisfying indeed
Here’s Steven Woolfe – a one-time UKIP leadership hopeful and now an ‘independent’ MEP – sharing his thoughts on immigration.
In the next five minutes 70 children will be born in the UK, 20 of those to mothers not born here. 60 people will have migrated here in that time as well.

The issue of immigration is undoubtedly a complex one. Steven Woolfe’s thought processes, possibly less so.

It seems your figures are wrong. Just to point out an obvious example: you say 60 people migrate to the UK every 5 minutes. That’s 6,307,200 per annum. Clearly an error. Not difficult to check your facts before you tweet. Or don’t you care about them?

Wow! That means that in just 14 years time, most people on earth will be British.

Ignoring the obviously racist tones of "foreigners and children of foreigners = bad", this thick UKIP chode has got his maths wrong by around 6 million babies pic.twitter.com/7VipeWiwUs

By my maths he is claiming the UK receives 6.3 million migrants a year. Plus there are 7.3 million births. No comment… pic.twitter.com/v5X5d8hiYM
