This woman’s takedown of a guy who tried to mansplain climate change was just brutal
Nothing like a good takedown to put a spring in your step, and this one is up there with the best.
It started when someone called Katie Mack expressed her concerns about climate change on Twitter.
Honestly climate change scares the heck out of me and it makes me so sad to see what we're losing because of it.

Which prompted this response from someone called Gary P Jackson, a chap whose political leanings are some way to the right of centre, it would appear.
Maybe you should learn some actual SCIENCE then, and stop listening to the criminals pushing the #GlobalWarming SCAM!

And the response from Katie Mack was just so perfect you’ll want to enjoy it more than once.
I dunno, man, I already went and got a PhD in astrophysics. Seems like more than that would be overkill at this point.

Boom! And this bit was our favourite.
‘Seems like more than that would be overkill at this point’
That’s Katie Mack, AKA Dr Katherine J Mack, who describes herself as an ‘astrophysicist/cosmologist, occasional freelance science writer, connoisseur of airplane food’. The clue was probably in what she calls herself on Twitter.
And her response got no end of love, of which this is just a flavour.
I have seen some burns in my time, but this is galactic. Seared in your consciousness forever.

lol @gary4205 Man. You got handed back your own guts there. Sheesh.

I’ve just decided, my daughters are going to be astrophysicists. Awesome. #bestputdownever
