Finding out a cat’s name made this woman’s day – and ours
There can’t be many people who haven’t indulged in a little window-gazing as a distraction in work, and Twitter user Erika Strong has that in common with most of us. One of the chief temptations for her to look out of her office window in Toronto has been the presence, in an apartment opposite, of this cat.

Eventually, curiosity got the better of her and she and a co-worker used large notes to ask the cat’s name, then this happened.
Every day I stare out the window @shopify at a cat in someone’s apartment. Weeks ago @_myles and I asked what its name was. Today they obliged and weve never been happier. pic.twitter.com/NKkMN9ViD4

Erika imagined a scenario to explain the delay.
I like to imagine that the reason it took them so long to respond is because they had to print it out at work and remember to bring the piece of paper home. And every day they would say "Today's the day" but they would still forget. It's lightly crumpled so it checks out.

Is it just me or would this make a great start to a rom-com? “Clawless”, perhaps, or “You’ve Got Tail”.
