Princess Diana’s acting plans are the WTF story of the week
Actor Kevin Costner – who would probably know better than anybody else – claims that, for a year before her untimely death, Diana, Princess of Wales had plans to star alongside him in a sequel to The Bodyguard.
According to the Guardian, the idea had been initiated by Sarah Ferguson, that well-known film producer, with Kevin Costner giving her praise for not trying to muscle in on the action.
“Sarah was really important,” he said. “I always respect Sarah because she’s the one that set up the conversation between me and Diana. And she never said, ‘Well, what about me? I’m a princess too.’ She was just so supportive of the idea.”
The Guardian shared a link to their story, and it garnered some understandably incredulous reactions.
