A cosplayer is selling jars of bathwater for $30 – stop the world, we want to get off
The market for “influencer” products is obviously big enough to keep Kim Kardashian in torturous corsetry and her buddy, Foodgōd, in gold-covered chicken wings, but they’re usually selling perfume, cosmetics or ridiculously overpriced clothing. One influencer, cosplayer Belle Delphine, has taken the inherently commercial nature of fame even further by offering small jars of her own bathwater for sale.
As she wrote on her Instagram account, “I am now selling my BATH WATER for all you THIRSTY gamer boys”, and there it is – large as life on her online shop.

The fact that it’s sold out makes us despair for the future of humanity – and wonder why she doesn’t bathe more. Here’s how the internet has reacted.

honestly sometimes i wonder why i bust my ass for this crippling education system while others make money like this https://t.co/7KHjqM8bnr

I will be selling the hot smelly air from the inside of my cast to anyone with enough cash. PayPal me $10,000 and it’s all yours.
Good luck, gamers. https://t.co/IIMcWX88c3

Not everybody was appalled, however. Model, Salem Mitchell had this to say.
if people want to buy it…….. i’m not mad at her https://t.co/KURpbMcBk9

And vlogger Dan Olsen had a similar view.
Respect the hustle. https://t.co/OcSjkyFH1J

But the best argument in her favour was this:
She’s getting paid plus getting the names and addresses of people she should probably avoid. Sounds win win to me

dre_tallboy on Instagram had a diabolical thought.

Yeah, imagine buying normal water for $30 a jar! That would be stupid.
