The Daily Mail compared Boris Johnson to Eric Morecambe and everyone else begged to differ
Lots of newspapers today have a picture of Boris Johnson doing a comedy salute and it reminded the Daily Mail of someone.
Well, he’s definitely not wise.
Except to everyone apart from the Daily Mail, Johnson dicking about reminded them of someone else entirely, and we think everyone else is right.
Not sure Eric Morecambe is the comedian who should immediately come to mind!! pic.twitter.com/HruiE302UG

Having seen the picture on many of the newspapers this morning, I'm relieved to see I'm not the only person who's looked at piffle's 'salute' and been reminded of Benny Hill's "Fred Scuttle" character. Saved me some time. pic.twitter.com/IntrTs4kBo

Benny Hill trending as Boris Johnson is choosing his cabinet.
Apparently he's running around a park chasing scantily clad women as we speak. pic.twitter.com/YjIy9NDfjJ

We’re sad because we voted for something that didn’t exist so now we want the funny man with the floppy blonde hair to come and cheer us up again.
Tragic stuff. pic.twitter.com/ybwmmb7Gzt

All the UK ever wanted is Benny Hill as PM. pic.twitter.com/uKWBJrfn06

And if you like it NSFW.
How dare the Daily Mail put that fucking arsehole on the same cover as my all time comedy hero Eric Morecambe.
Just for the record the stance that wanker is holding is more akin to Benny Hills Fred Scuttle, they can't even get things right when it's right infront of them.
