How do you weigh a giant cabbage? No, it’s not a joke
Some gardeners obviously have some kind of magic formula, because they produce veg that goes above and beyond the greengrocery aisle at the local supermarket and heads into Roald Dahl territory, like the enormous cabbage grown by Alaskan JR Ancheta.

We think he’s going to need a bigger pan. But JR had a slight problem when it came to finding out what it weighed, because he couldn’t exactly bung it on the kitchen scales. Luckily, help was at hand.
Thank you to the @AlaskaAir ticket counter crew in Fairbanks. My friend JR wanted to know the weight of his cabbage, so he took it to the airport to be weighed. 28.5 pounds and now on its way to kimchee. pic.twitter.com/ou0YqeM7xA

These were a few of the appreciative reactions to JR and his giant cabbage – and we really hope that J is for James.
We❤️ this!! That's a LOT of kimchee. #Priceless ~Angel

We were very much here for this comment by @VivJaye.
When he goes to cut that up there's a decent chance he's going to find a magical baby who fights demons, so do be wary of that.

But JR dashed our hopes.
Alas, no magical baby. 😢 Magical kimchi, though!😅
