The priorities in this child’s “heartbreak” list make interesting reading

Over on Reddit, someone named Cameron Jones has shared a list they made as a child, detailing ten things that would have broken their young heart.

Here’s how that went.

In case that’s not clear, this is what it says:

1. Parents divorced

2. Parents die

3. Grandmas die

4. Grandpas die

5. Dog died

6. No more Simpsons

7. No more recess

8. I die

9. no more candy

10. no earth

There’s a lot of potential heartbreak there, as well as some odd priorities. For instance, we can’t help but notice that the Simpsons being cancelled ranks higher than Cameron’s own death and the destruction of the planet.

Reddit users were also a bit unsure about the order of the list.

We hope young Cameron didn’t have to go through too many of those – though we don’t have high hopes for the dog.
