When I'm making coffee using the Aeropress, my daughter comes and lifts up my outside leg to "help get the weight for the plunger" so that I'm more or less T-shaped by the time it's done. Ridiculous nonsense but played utterly deadpan.

Here in Brighton, maybe elsewhere too, almost everyone thanks the driver when they get off the bus. It’s so deeply ingrained, that I believe that even if we had been driven at top speed & crashed, people would still thank the driver as they stumbled from the wreckage. I love it
