You’ve probably already seen that rather excruciating video of Russell Brand frantically flicking through his Bible to find his favourite passage from the Booky Wooky of Isaiah as Piers Morgan watches on, but if you haven’t you can watch it here.

The cheeky chappy convert has also released his own guide to religion with none other than Tucker Carlson, entitled How to Become a Christian in 7 Days.

It’s all so very convenient for someone who is facing charges of three counts of rape and a host of other sexual assault charges – which he denies – and who has just admitted to having sex with a 16-year-old when he was 30.

Comedian Munya Chawawa got the measure of the guy back in 2024 when he posted this spot-on skit of him portraying Brand’s ‘convenient conversion’ and it’s been going viral all over again.
