Politics ballrooms donald trump
Donald Trump is still wanging on about ballrooms and his latest claim might finally explain why he cares so much about them
In a time when international conflict is putting millions of people’s safety in jeopardy, we need a leader with a clear plan for moving forward safely and together.
Instead, we get a shady general contractor obsessed with his latest pet project that will benefit him and him only.
Donald Trump was speaking at a gathering of military moms when he decided it was time, once again, to offer an update on his White House ballroom.
Not only was the update selfish and off-topic, but it also exposed an underlying truth: this man might never leave the White House.

Who else needs a weapons-repelling bunker than a President who has repeatedly floated the idea that he will continuing serving as the Commander in Chief past his second term.
Twitter lit up with replies questioning the logic and validity of his ballroom brags.

Trump already tried to overturn an election. Now he’s talking about building a White House ballroom with 6 inch thick blast resistant glass.
This is fortress coup energy. https://t.co/XGeAFT5hwB

If he’s so good at ballrooms then he should build his bunker at Mar-a-Lago and leave us all alone.

I believe he’s speaking to military moms here. I’m sure one of their top priorities is making sure the guy sending our troops into war gets his dream ballroom. https://t.co/UqXNUdkWc8

Trump: I think I’ll start selling Trump Mini Ballrooms, so everyone can have one. They’ll be cheap, won’t repel any weapons, and I won’t actually make them, but people will buy it.
