The White House continues to put more effort into infantile social media posts than fixing its government. The latest teenage girl meme post comes courtesy of Marco Rubio and the White House Communications Director, Steven Cheung.

The duo teamed up to mock Venezuela and its deposed leader, Nicolas Maduro. Before boarding for an apparent business trip to China, Rubio cosplayed in the same Nike sweatsuit Maduro was wearing when he was kidnapped from his country.

It was a classless shot at a country the US recklessly attacked and Rubio’s smug facial expression telegraphed just how completely out of touch this administration is.

The fact that Cheung posted it on an official White House account only drives home the unprofessionalism of Donald Trump’s entire organization.

Also, Rubio was totally fine with the implications here, apparently forever willing to do anything to please his master.

Some people in the comments were pissed with the behavior, some were pissed with the fit, but everyone was pissed for some reason or another.
