Donald Trump’s latest excuse for staying out of the Russia-Ukraine conflict is about as flimsy and convincing as, say, an ill-fitting hairpiece
Donald Trump made a lot of promises/told a lot of lies (delete according to taste) as he weaseled his way back into the White House.
One of the most prominent and oft repeated claims was his confidence in stopping and preventing global conflicts. Specifically, he wanted everyone to know how easy it would be for him to bring a halt to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Well, it’s getting close to two full years for Trump in the White House and that’s not exactly unfolding how he said it would.
The US has instead attacked Venezuela and Iran, threatened Cuba and Greenland, and, most critically, appears to have done absolutely nothing to calm tensions and violence between Russia and Ukraine.
Any updates there, Mr. President?
