The internet can’t decide if this is a photo of Tom Hanks or Bill Murray

You can always rely on the internet to get involved with the big, weighty issues of the day and the latest thing to baffle the web is this photo, originally taken in 2013, that’s supposed to be of Bill Murray.

But not everyone is convinced…

Thankfully the BBC have done some cyber-sleuthing to put us out of our collective misery. Laura DiMichele-Ross – the woman whose wailing son is the real star of this photo – had this to say:

But she would say that, given that she’s clearly PART OF A VAST AND ELABORATE CONSPIRACY ATTEMPTING TO TRICK US ALL. Or maybe it’s Bill Murray.
