Americans have been marching to protest against the lockdown – 16 baffling placards
In a move that has surprised absolutely nobody, some Americans have been holding protests against having to stay indoors to halt the spread of Covid-19.
Oddly, many of the Trump faithful have spent years boasting about the supplies of food and guns they’ve stockpiled for when the Libs cause World War II by *checks notes* introducing universal healthcare and reproductive rights for women.
This week saw protests across Michigan, Kentucky, Virginia, Utah, Ohio, North Carolina and Arizona, where some fearless nurses stepped up to protest the protests.
While it’s understandable that the US government’s inadequate support for struggling workers is putting strain on poorer families, a large number of the protesters seem to be doing it on the grounds that it’s against the constitution, or that they’re missing golf.
As you can probably imagine, the placards were interesting, so we’ve rooted out some good ones – read them and weep.
