It feels like we’ve been waiting for Boris Johnson to resign as prime minister even longer than he’s actually been prime minister.
But today his time was finally up after 59 Conservative MPs (at the time of writing) resigned and it turned out he was unable to staff the entire Cabinet with just Nadine Dorries.
