That’s because you dumb fucks don’t know what British food is. Gordon Ramsey made a Beef Wellington and you all wet yourselves.

The ‘British food’ thing is kind of just a subset of the ‘Anglos don’t have a culture’ nonsense
Everyone eats ‘British’ (Anglo + Scottish) food all the time. We just don’t have a consciousness about it https://t.co/FuKVxX7dmQ pic.twitter.com/IjmYCyNgyA

Nice ragebait but London has the third highest number of Michelin starred restaurants in the world behind Tokyo and Paris. The USA has 230 in total, the UK has 269, so per capita much higher.
I’d maybe go have some canned cheese to console yourself.

British food has a marketing problem. Full English breakfast, roast dinners, muffin top stew. There are some great dinners but they are big hearty meals that are best cooked at home. If you can you should try Cornish pasties as another great option.
